Applications Sought For HP Commission



Montrose, CO — The City of Montrose is now accepting applications for one vacant position on the city's Historic Preservation Commission.

The current opening is for a three-year term, set to end on October 16, 2022. 

The commission is appointed by the City Council. At least 60 percent of its members are residents of the city, and at least 40 percent of the members are professionals or individuals with extensive expertise in a preservation-related discipline, including, but not limited to, history, architecture, landscape architecture, American studies, American civilization, cultural geography, cultural anthropology, planning or archaeology.
 
Applicants for this position must reside within city limits and meet the aforementioned experiential qualifications. 

The deadline to apply is the close of business on Monday, November 25.
