City Announces Memorial Day Closures
Montrose, CO — City of Montrose offices will close in observance of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 27, including City Hall, the Downtown Visitor Center, Municipal Court, Animal Shelter, Montrose Pavilion and Public Works.
Police Department offices will be closed, however, officers will be on duty and responding to calls. The Black Canyon Golf Course will be open.
Trash collection schedule:
Only customers with Monday trash collection will be affected by the closure. These customers will receive trash collection services on an alternate collection schedule as follows:
Monday customers located south of San Juan Avenue will receive collection services on Tuesday, May 28.
Monday routes located north of San Juan Avenue will be served on Wednesday, May 29.
Recycling collection: Recycling routes that would normally occur on Monday, May 27, will instead occur Friday, May 31.

CityofMontrose.org/TrashCedar Creek Cemetery Memorial Day Flowers:Memorial Day flowers will be picked up at Cedar Creek Cemetery starting Thursday, June 6. If you wish to save flowers placed on the graves at the cemetery, please pick them up before this date.
