Miami-Hillcrest Roundabout Work To Begin
Monday, April 1

Montrose, CO — Contractors working for the City of Montrose are scheduled to begin construction work on the Miami-Hillcrest roundabout Monday, April 1.

The first several weeks of construction will take place in shoulder areas of the roadway. Through traffic will remain open in all directions during these initial phases of work, however, residents can expect lane shifts and shoulder closures throughout the work area. The city asks that all motorists and pedestrians exercise caution through the work area and respect all coned-off areas.

Full closure of the intersection is expected for late April and will be announced with a follow-up press release.

Visit the city’s Moving Montrose Forward project webpage at www.movemo.co for regular updates on this and other city projects. A live-stream webcam overlooking the roundabout project will also be included on this webpage within the next several weeks.

Full closure of the intersection for the installation of a new roundabout is expected for late April.
