Montrose, CO – The City of Montrose Public Works department will begin work on August 13, to replace the valley pan at the intersection South Rio Grande Avenue at West Main Street.

South Rio Grande Avenue will be closed at West Main Street. The work is expected to last through this week. Traffic should use South Grand Avenue and South 1st Street as detours around the work area. 

Access to nearby businesses will remain open.  Pedestrians and motorists are asked to exercise caution near the work area and to please respect all coned off areas.
