Montrose Planning Commission Accepting Applications


Montrose, CO – Citizens with a desire to help shape the future of the community are encouraged to submit an application to serve on the city’s Planning Commission. Vacancies exist for one commissioner with a term that expires on January 1, 2021 and one alternate.

The Planning Commission evaluates matters related to planning and community development. Members serve at the pleasure of the City Council and are appointed for four-year overlapping terms. Meetings are held the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 5 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

Applications are available at City Hall, 433 S. First Street, on the City of Montrose website at www.cityofmontrose.org, or by calling 970.240.1422. Applications and letters of interest must be submitted to the City Clerk by 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018.
