Local housing development breaks ground for construction

Montrose, CO – Local contractors have broken ground on a new 50-unit affordable housing development for independent-living seniors to be constructed immediately south of Odelle Road and east of Woodgate Road.

This project, known as the Woodgate Trails Apartments, will also include utility extensions and repaving along portions of Odelle Road.

In response to concerns regarding dust and safety, the contractor has decided to close Odelle Road between Woodgate Road and Abrams Avenue throughout the duration of construction which is expected to last through late September.

Access will remain open to local businesses and residences. Vehicles and pedestrians may detour via Ogden Road. Any questions regarding the project may be directed to Chip Madeley, Project Manager for Hamilton Builders at 417.882.1701.
