Montrose, CO – Roadwork continues this week with primary areas of focus on South Hillcrest Drive, Oxbow Drive, Niagara Road, and South Park Avenue. Contractors will continue to replace an aging waterline main along South Hillcrest Drive between Sunnyside and Niagara roads, which will continue onto Niagara Road towards Townsend Avenue. 

No water interruptions are anticipated. Expect lane shifts as contractors mill a section of asphalt to replace the waterline on Niagara Road. Contractors will begin asphalt patching on Oxbow Drive and South Park Avenue; this includes removing and replacing deteriorated sections of asphalt. Oxbow Drive will be closed to accommodate work.

The City of Montrose asks motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution within these work areas and to please respect all coned-off areas.
