Culvert Replacement and Roadway Repairs Scheduled for Ogden Road

Montrose, CO — In response to a failing culvert between 6700 Road and Bridges Drive, City of Montrose Streets Division crews will begin repairs and traffic detours at 5 a.m. on Monday, March 27. The roadway is expected to reopen to traffic the following morning, weather permitting.

All motorists are asked to adjust routes for their morning and evening commute to avoid Ogden and use Niagara as their primary access to town.

Westbound vehicles will be detoured through The Preserve neighborhood via Outlook Drive onto 6700 Road heading north. Eastbound vehicles will be detoured onto Bridges Drive towards Niagara.

Until the repairs are completed, motorists are urged to use caution in the work area and follow the detours that are in place. Public Works would like to thank the public for being patient as crews repair the damage.
