City Offices to Close on Presidents’ Day
Montrose, CO — City of Montrose offices will close in observance of Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 20, 2023.
City Hall, the Downtown Visitor Center, Municipal Court, Animal Shelter, Montrose Pavilion, and Public Works will all close in observance of the holiday.
Police Department offices will be closed, however, officers will be on duty and responding to calls. The Black Canyon Golf Course will remain open depending on snow, the Pro Shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., while The Rusty Putter restaurant will be closed. City residential trash customers who would normally receive service on Monday, February 20, will instead be served on Tuesday, February 21, and Wednesday, February 22.Monday customers located south of San Juan Avenue will be served Tuesday, February 21. Monday customers residing north of San Juan Avenue will be served Wednesday, February 22.
Recycling customers who would normally receive collection service Monday, February 20, will instead be served Friday, February 24. Residents with questions about route adjustments are encouraged to call City Hall at 970.240.1400 or visit CityofMontrose.org/Trash.
