Montrose, CO –  On Sunday, April 3, 2022, City of Montrose utility crews will replace a valve and a fire hydrant at the intersection of Main Street and Uncompahgre Avenue. Main Street will be closed to westbound traffic between Park and Uncompahgre Avenues from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. while the work is being accomplished. 

Parking will also be closed along the north side of Main Street on this same block and detours will be in place for westbound traffic. The single-block closure is necessary to mobilize heavy equipment and create a safe work environment. The work has been scheduled to minimize impacts on local businesses and the traveling public.
