City Offices to Close On Presidents’ Day



Montrose, CO — City of Montrose offices will close in observance of Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 21, 2022. 

City Hall, the Downtown Visitor Center, Municipal Court, Animal Shelter, Montrose Pavilion, and Public Works will all close in observance of the holiday.

Police Department offices will be closed, however, officers will be on duty and responding to calls. The Black Canyon Golf Course will remain open, while The Rusty Putter restaurant will be closed.

City residential trash customers who would normally receive service on Monday, February 21, will instead be served on Tuesday, February 22, and Wednesday, February 23.

Monday customers located south of San Juan Avenue will be served Tuesday, February 22. Monday customers residing north of San Juan Avenue will be served Wednesday, February 23.  

Recycling customers who would normally receive collection service Monday, February 21, will instead be served Friday, February 25.
