Montrose, CO — Beginning Monday, October 30, street crews with the City of Montrose Public Works department will begin landscaping work on the inside portion of the roundabout located at the intersection of Ogden and Woodgate roads.
The roundabout will need to be closed periodically to allow equipment and supplies to be transported to the site, according to City of Montrose Parks and Special Projects Superintendent Daniel Payne.

Payne said drivers using the roundabout should exercise caution while passing through the intersection or consider taking alternate routes.
The city’s Public Works department takes personal safety precautions very seriously and drivers should follow all traffic signs while navigating the area at safe, slower speeds.
The landscaping work on the roundabout is expected to be completed by mid-December. Any additional traffic or work updates will be released once they become available.
