Public Encouraged to Provide Feedback Via Online Survey
Montrose, CO — The City of Montrose is seeking public input regarding the redesign and construction of Centennial Plaza during a community meeting scheduled for Monday, October 30.
The city's Development and Revitalization Team, DART, is leading the community meeting that will begin at 6 p.m. and will be held inside the Public Safety Complex located at 434 South First Street, which is located adjacent to Centennial Plaza.
City administrators are seeking public feedback to determine the best way to utilize the public space in Centennial Plaza. The city is planning to replace aging public infrastructure in the plaza including the restroom facility and community stage.
DART manager Michelle Wingfield said a community survey is now open where the public can submit ideas, feedback, and any other comments regarding the project.
That survey can be found by clicking on the following links:

"Centennial Plaza is an iconic public space in the heart of our downtown that has so much potential," Wingfield said. "We are encouraging everyone who loves downtown Montrose to take the survey, attend the community meeting on October 30, or both!”
Wingfield said that food and drinks will be provided at the meeting and families with children are also invited to attend and participate in the design process.

Updates about the Centennial Plaza design and construction project will be released as they become available.
