Beginning Wednesday, June 14, contractors working for the City of Montrose will begin utility work through the intersection of Sunnyside Road and 6700 Road in support of the 6700 Road Extension Project. Sunnyside Road will be closed to all traffic through the work zone. After the completion of utility work, Sunnyside Road will be reopened to a temporary surface until final paving later this fall. Work on Sunnyside Road is expected to be completed in approximately 6 weeks. The city asks that all motorists and pedestrians respect all work zones and detours.
Any questions regarding the project may be directed to Civil Engineer Joshua Sickles at 970.240.1486 or email@example.com. Visit www.MoveMo.co for routine project updates and information on other large capital projects taking place throughout the city.
