The City of Montrose will provide matching funds for total project funding of $720,000.
The new bridge will provide increased width for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The new structure will also have increased capacity for conveying Montrose Arroyo flows during major storm events. A timeline for construction will be developed after design work is completed.
North Seventh Street is a residential street that serves as a primary access street for the Sunshine Peak Apartment Homes, an affordable housing complex that was completed last year. The street will eventually connect to San Juan Avenue.
