Montrose, CO — Beginning this week, contractors working for the City of Montrose will begin sidewalk replacement work on a portion of South First Street in front of Straw Hat Farm Market and Kitchen Store. This work is expected to conclude by March 24.
Portions of parking spaces on the south side of the street will be closed until work concludes. This work will help add more parking spaces to the area and replace damaged sidewalks that have become a tripping hazard.
The city would like to thank business owners and residents for being patient while repairs are made.
