Montrose, CO — On Wednesday, September 7, crews with the City of Montrose’s Utility Department will begin replacing a water main on West South 4th Street near the intersection with Grand Avenue.
Aging infrastructure along with recent water main failures have contributed to the rapid response for this project to be completed.
Detours will be in place for access to West South 4th street with local access only. Installation of the new water main is expected to last two weeks. Customers can expect short water service disruption when switching over to the new water main after installation.
