Beginning Tuesday, November 19th, contractors working for the City of Montrose will begin installing a new storm drain under Rio Grande Avenue at Riverbottom Drive. Rio Grande will be closed to all through traffic at Riverbottom Drive for the duration of this work. Soft closures barricades will be installed at Colorado Avenue and Townsend Avenue notifying drivers that Rio Grande will be closed to through traffic. Access to Apollo Avenue will remain open to traffic from the North. The project is expected to be completed by Thursday, November 21st.
