Participation in the first three community workshops has been strong, providing valuable public feedback on housing & neighborhoods, transportation & mobility, and land use & growth. City leadership is looking forward to continued interest and attendance at the next three topic-specific workshops for Parks, Trails & Open Space/Recreation & Tourism (August 8), Health & Environment (August 13), and Economy & Opportunity (August 21).
Please note that the Parks, Trails & Open Space/Recreation & Tourism event, originally scheduled for August 12, has been moved to Thursday, August 8.
Workshops will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., beginning with a 15 minute open house, and will be held in the Centennial Room behind City Hall (433 South First Street). Refreshments will be provided.
The city will host a combined workshop for Spanish-speaking residents on August 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., beginning with a 15 minute open house.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who has provided their perspective by participating in these important community workshops. If you aren't able to attend a workshop, please accept our invitation to review workshop presentations on the Comprehensive Plan page and provide input by using our interactive map.
