The City of Montrose will host the initial community kick-off meetings for the Comprehensive Plan development process in June. The first kick-off meeting will be Tuesday, June 11 at Columbine Middle School (610 York Street) from 5:00-7:30 p.m. The meeting will include an open house with light refreshments (from 5:00-5:30 p.m.), childcare, an interactive presentation with keypad polling, and a discussion period.
The City will also host a community kick-off meeting for Spanish-speaking residents on Thursday, June 13 at Columbine Middle School (610 York Street) from 6:00-8:30 p.m. (open house from 6:00-6:30 p.m.). The meeting format and agenda will be the same as the initial kick-off meeting, conducted by a Spanish-speaking facilitator.
If you are unable to attend these meetings, you can still participate! An online survey will be conducted on the City's website the week following the community kick-off meetings. This survey will replicate the questions and issues discussed at the public meetings.
