Annual Christmas Tree Pick Up Begins Next Week

Montrose, CO — Next week, city crews will begin the annual curbside Christmas tree pick up, a free service that will run through the end of January.

Christmas trees will be picked up at curbside beginning January 2 and continuing through January 31.

Artificial trees, frosted trees, and trees with tinsel, stands and/or ornaments attached will not be collected.

Trees will be picked up by route Monday through Thursday. Trees can also be dropped off at the Public Works facility Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Christmas tree collection routes mirror the city’s trash pick up routes.

There is no charge for this service. For further information, call 970-240-1480.
