Paul was born into a US Navy family, living in several places, but was mostly raised in Maryland. Personal computers were to the world in his early life, and he learned all he could about programming which lead to working as a computer programmer around Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington DC.
In 1994 he enlisted in the US Navy, where he spent almost 10 years as an Electronics Technician, first serving aboard the USS Georgia (SSBN 729) and then as an instructor teaching equipment operation and troubleshooting.
After leaving the Navy he wanted to live in a small town, for the slower pace of life and greater sense of community than a big city offers. His electronics experience gave him the opportunity to work for Siemens Healthcare, based out of Montrose. As a service technician for Siemens, he installed and maintained medical imaging systems in hospitals and clinics across western Colorado.
Paul left Siemens after 15 years, looking to change focus and pursue a few of his passions in life. He is currently co-owner of Intrinzik, and has built and opened a professional photography studio.
