- MURA Phase I Public Infrastructure
The Montrose Urban Renewal Authority (MURA) is a public-private partnership aimed at revitalizing blighted portions of northwestern Montrose through the creation of a mixed-use commercial, light industrial, and residential development known as Colorado Outdoors. Additional details about the MURA can be found at CityofMontrose.org/MURA.
The MURA board awarded a construction contract to Ridgway Valley Enterprises in January of 2018 for construction of the MURA’s Phase I public infrastructure. This project constructed approximately 2.25 miles of public roadway and its associated utilities within the central 40 acres of the development.
