Tree Trim and Replacement Program
The City of Montrose is committed to helping maintain the beauty of our community. As part of this commitment, the city has funds available to assist residents with tree trimming and replacement of trees in the public right-of-way.
The city will reimburse 50% (up to $200) for trimming of trees in the public right-of-way, 75% (up to $600) to remove trees in the public right-of-way, and 75% (up to $200) for the replacement of trees in the public right-of-way. Funding is limited and assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
To be eligible for reimbursement, the assistance program application must be approved before work begins. Please see the Tree Trim Replacement Program application for details.
