Recyclable Materials
Plastics
Plastics with number one through seven markings shown below
can be placed in the recycling cart. Please be sure that containers are
emptied and rinsed. |

Do not include plastic bags and plastics that are not marked with a recycling symbol. These include
some packaging containers for prepared foods, eating utensils, shopping bags, Styrofoam packaging, lids and caps,
and ice cube trays. |

Paper
Newspaper, junk mail, magazines, office paper and telephone books.
Shredded paper must be placed in a paper bag.
Remove plastic. |

Do not include photographs, construction paper, paper towels, materials contaminated with food, oil, etc. |

Paperboard and Cardboard
Boxes, paper towel and toilet paper rolls, egg cartons (clean)
Remove plastic parts and flatten boxes. |

Do not include wax or plastic coated items, such as paper ice cream,
milk and juice containers, coffee cups, frozen food packages.

Metals
Aluminum and tin/steel cans, aerosol spray cans, metal cap and lids,
wire, and coat hangers. Empty all metal cans and containers. |
