Anti-Graffiti Ordinance
An anti-graffiti ordinance (Section 6-1-28 of the City of Montrose Municipal Code) was approved by the Montrose City Council in 2006. Some basic provisions of the ordinance include:
- fines and penalties for graffiti vandals including investigation and cleanup costs
- graffiti removal requirements for property owners and tenants
- restrictions on the sale of graffiti implements
