Overview
The Parks Advisory Board advises the City Council and/or other applicable boards on:

• Future and immediate park-related projects
• Land acquisition for parks
• Modifications to recreation facilities
• Parks and trails development and redevelopment
• Open space projects
• Capital funding issues

The Board also acts as the Montrose Tree Board, providing guidance for planting, maintaining, and removing trees in parks and other public places.

Members
The Board is appointed by the City Council and consists of five to seven members, all residents of the City of Montrose.  Current members are:
