Green Waste
Overview
Green waste services are now being provided by S&S Recycling, located at 1915 North Townsend Avenue next to Grand Junction Pipe & Supply. Their hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Items that are accepted at the site include:
  • lawn clippings
  • garden plants
  • leaves  
  • branches less than six inches in diameter
  • hedge and tree trimmings

The City of Montrose has closed the Green Waste Drop Off Center located at the intersection of Park and San Juan Ave.
