Overview
Snow Routes have been established so that the City's snow removal operations are focused on primary transportation corridors.  These routes have been scaled to fully utilize the City's snow removal equipment. 

The City does not perform snow removal operations in residential areas except under extreme conditions, however, City crews do attend to safety hazards at intersections and obstructions to storm drains or gutters that cause icing. 

Sidewalks
Residents can assist by keeping sidewalks free of snow and ice as required by City ordinance.  Snow removed from sidewalks should not be placed in the street.

The Parks Division is responsible for removing snow from trails, sidewalks adjacent to City property and downtown corners.
