The state driver's license office would not allow me to get my driver's license and told me to contact the City of Montrose Municipal Court. Why?
Colorado law requires the court to place an administrative revocation/denial on a driver's license when a bench warrant is issued for failure to appear in court or failure to comply with conditions of a traffic ticket, such as payment of fines. The law imposes a $30 fee in addition to any other warrant or administrative fees that might apply.

Contact the court at 240-1428 for more information concerning the status of your case.
