2. How do I renew my sales tax license?

City sales tax licenses must be renewed each calendar year for a $15 fee. Renewal applications are included with the sales tax booklets. 3. Does the City of Montrose have a business license?

No. However, the City of Montrose does require a Sales and Use Tax License for businesses who conduct retail sales within the city limits or who deliver retail products into the City for retail sale. By City code, use tax must be paid on goods consumed or stored within the city limits if sales tax was not paid when the goods were purchased.

4. How do I file my sales tax returns?
